Daniel launched Habito, the free online mortgage broker in 2016. Habito uses technology to bring the mortgage application process into the 21st century. Using Habito, homebuyers can, for the first time, be sure they’re getting the best deal for them, with no jargon, no fees and no misinformation.

Daniel has extensive fintech experience that took an unusual route, having spent the early part of his career as a professional musician touring in the USA.

In 2007, he became increasingly interested in financial technology and joined fledgling company, Wonga as Head of Product. Over seven years with the firm he went on to hold several positions as the business grew, including Head of Decision Science, Head of Strategy & New Ventures and Managing Director of Business Lending & Retail where he looked after the UK, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands.
