Gabrielle Haddad is the Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer of Sigma Ratings – the world’s first rating agency focused on financial crime and governance risk.
Gabrielle began her career as an M&A and corporate governance attorney at the law firm of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP in New York City where she focused on cross-border private equity M&A transactions. Gabrielle subsequently spent several years with The Global Fund, an international financing institution based in Geneva, Switzerland, where she was responsible for managing legal, policy, risk and governance matters affecting over 35 investment portfolios across Africa, the Middle East and Latin America. Gabrielle holds an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a JD from The George Washington University School of Law and a BSBA in Finance from Villanova University.
In June 2018, Gabrielle testified before the Financial Services Committee of the US Congress' House of Representatives on the International and Domestic Implications of De-Risking. She has been a featured speaker on Bloomberg Middle East and at international conferences including Finovate Fall 2018, FIBA AML Conference in 2018 and the Congressional sponsored Parliamentary Intelligence Security Forum.
